The Holmes® Desktop Air Purifier with Visipure™ Filter Viewing Window uses Aer1  ARM and Hammer filter, which effectively traps dust and particles. Unlike the HAP242, that can cover an area up to 109 sq. ft., it works well for slightly larger rooms with sizes up to 132 sq. ft. Both are nice choices, but if you want a more powerful air cleaning device, the Holmes HEPA-Type Desktop Air still fares well.
