If the room you place this in is smaller than 500 sq feet then you will get a greater air exchange rate than the 4.8 times per hour and will notice a significant difference in it’s cleaning capacity. This measurement is dependant on the air purifier being set on the highest of it’s 4 fan speeds. There is also a sleep mode and turbo mode that you can set the Whispure air purifier to.

Programmable Features

The sleep mode is quite unique since most air purifiers do not have such a feature. It allows you to program a schedule for the Whirlpool Whispure HEPA air purifier. This way you can have it turn down to a lower and quieter setting during certain hours and then automatically turn back up and the desired time so you never have to worry about forgetting to change the settings. For those that work outside the home this is a great setting because you can set it to the max setting so it can be cleaning your air while you are away and then continue at a lower setting so that the sound is not distracting during the hours you are home.

How Big is the Whispure Air?

One other thing to consider about this unit is it’s size. It can take up a bit of space in a room and, weighing in at 23.8 pounds it is not always easily moved. However, due to the airflow design it can be situated against a wall. The air intake is through the front of the unit and the clean air is released through the top.
